OPERATION JOY:  We’re asking families to create pictures-online, crayon, marker, paint, playdough, chalk on sidewalk, etc. and take a picture of it and/or make a quick video singing a song, playing instruments or sending a message and email to preschool@stmaryofsorrows.org We will then get it to elderly/shut ins from the parish and community to help brighten their day. We’re also working with Heatherwood and Sunrise nursing facility to send them the arts as they can’t be visited by loved ones or don’t have anyone to be with. We’ll also share this with our funeral ministry to help console those who have lost someone. All communication with these groups will be through the church account and will not include names. We hope that you will participate in this form of corporal and spiritual works of mercy during these difficult times.
