Want to help with a new program? …Calling all Woodworking, Crafting, Painting friends, young and young at heart: Thank you to those who have responded to the call to help as we are well on our way to creating a very unique learning environment for Catechesis of the Good Shepherd (CGS). We need YOU to help bring beauty to this sacred space for our children to experience our faith in a very hands-on way. Our parish has so many wonderful talents and we ask for you to share those and your time with us to create materials for the Bible and Mass to be tangible for the little ones. There are many options to consider. Examples include: building a small model of the Temple, diorama of various homes mentioned in the Bible, child size ambo, raised maps of the Holy Land region. We have plans and diagrams to help create but we need your expertise with the tools.
If you’d like to volunteer to make things, please see our list here.
If you’d like to donate items, please see our list here.
