Coat Collection is underway and coats may be left in the box in the Parish Center foyer through September 22, 2024.
 
Multi-Cultural Mass will be held at St. Mary’s tonight with Bishop Burbidge. There will be a reception in St. Joseph’s Hall. Join people from all over the diocese for Mass and cultural events and food.
 
Join in for the showing of the next episode of The Chosen, Season 4, Episode 5 in Farrell Hall after the 5:00pm Mass on Saturday, August 24th. Come for dinner, show and fellowship.

Please plan to attend our upcoming annual Parish Family Picnic on Monday, September 2nd, on the grounds of the parish church and parish center.  A description of the picnic schedule and activities is published in today’s Bulletin. Frequently Asked Questions are posted on the parish website along with a signup list.  It takes many volunteers to organize and run the picnic, so please consider volunteering for a shift. A planning meeting for St. Mary’s International Night, “Taste of the World”, is scheduled for 7:00pm, Thursday, August 22, 2024, in the Conference Room. This annual event celebrates St. Mary’s community cultural diversity. Interested in becoming Catholic? We will have an Interest Meeting on Thursday, August 22nd at 7:00pm in St. Joseph’s Hall. Everyone is welcome and light refreshments will be served.

Moving Foward

The school year is starting soon and so is Religious Education. For First Holy Communion preparation, children need to be enrolled in the First Grade as the preparation is two years. Confirmation is also a two year preparation, 7th and 8th grade. Religious Education is also available for high school students. See the bulletin for details on how to sign up.
