The Virginia Catholic Conference
The Virginia bishops have set up a Catholic
Conference to advance the public policy objectives of the two Virginia
dioceses and inform members of our diocese about issues being supported by
the VCC and the US Conference of Catholic Bishops (USCCB).
We encourage you to follow issues in the
Virginia General Assembly that the Virginia bishops are supporting and
issues in the US Congress that the USCCB is supporting. See the Virginia
Catholic Conference site to get information on both of them and sign up
there to receive e-mail alerts when contacts with legislators are needed.
Also see
http:/www.usccb.org/sdwp to
learn about actions that the USCCB is taking to promote peace and justice.
Your e-mail messages, letters, and phone calls can make a
